	Back in the 1800's hunters came from other states (and other countries) to test their hunting skills in the famous Horicon Marsh. The abundance of furred animals and waterfowl were legendary. The Horicon Marsh has been an exceptional place to hunt waterfowl since the mid 1900's. The Burnett Game farm was founded in 1964 as a retreat for sportsmen and nature lovers. Its members are dedicated to the ethical pursuit of game and the preservation and enhancement of wildlife on the Horicon Marsh and adjacent wetlands. Surrounded by stately pines, the first class executive lodge offers sleeping accommodations, meeting rooms and excellent social areas. The Burnett Game Farm offers sportsmen a quality experience. it provides businessmen with a very special place to share business plans and exciting moments with friends and associates. The Burnett Game Farm is located on the southwest end of Horicon Marsh including several farms and covering 1200 acres of land.
