How Can I Help?
There are many things you can do right here at home to help restore the Right to Life
for every human being in our country. Indeed, if the work is not done at the grass roots
level, we have no chance of winning. Below you'll find both general and very specific ways
to get involved in the prolife movement here in Dodge County Wisconsin, or wherever you
are. No matter which method you choose, please get involved... lives depend on it.

24 Years of Child Killing...
Where do we go from here?
It has been 24 years since the US Supreme Court, in an exercise of raw judicial power, declared it legal for a mother to have her pre-born child killed in the womb - whenever she wishes, as often as she wishes, and for any reason whatsoever. Since then, over 36 million children have been sacrificed on the altar of "choice". In our country alone, thousands of women are deceived and coerced daily by the multi-million dollar abortion industry - aided and abetted by it's friends in government, the media and the feminist movement. Abortion has been around long enough now for us to have produced a whole generation of Americans who grew up in a society that takes for granted the "right" to kill babies... what does this say about our future? Until the Right to Life is again the law of our land, there is something for each of us to do, as we seek to save children, serve women, and tell the truth... one life at a time.
Educate
Educate your neighbors about the reality of the life of the preborn... many still do not know that human life begins at conception, or that it is legal to kill pre-born children at any stage of pregnancy! We have some great resources like our fetal models & First Days of Life CD-ROM to help you with any educational effort, and willing speakers to help you get things started!
Write, Call,
Fax & Email
Write, call, fax & email our elected law makers... especially the Republicans whom many assume are automatically prolife. Continually remind them of the pivotal importance of pursuing legislation that will protect all human life, then hold their feet to the fire! Do not let the so called "big tent" theory cause Republican legislators to remove the prolife position from their platform in the name of party "unity". Pro-life has always been a core belief of the Republican party, and it must remain so.
Expose
Expose the deceptive practices of pro-abortion agencies... there is great power in the truth! We have a wide variety of pamphlets, videos, and other resources to help you right now!
Serve
Serve women and families in need who, without immediate help and ongoing support, might otherwise choose abortion.
Work
Work with your Right to Life chapter... become a member, be where the action is, and help us save children and serve mothers even better.
Pray
Pray that God would continue to raise up active and committed pro-life people - people like you - to get the work done.

Getting Involved with Dodge County Right to Life
Monthly Membership Meetings
Dodge County Right to Life holds it's monthly membership meeting on the Third Thursday of each month, 06:30-08:00 PM, at the Beaver Dam Community Library meeting room, 311 North Spring Street in Beaver Dam. The public is always welcome, and you need not be a member to attend. It is here that we recruit most of our volunteer help for current projects, and plan future ones. Come be a part of it! Email us with specific questions, or check our What's New page for current projects and needs!
Become a Church
Contact Person
Church Contacts are among our most valuable volunteers. CCs act as a conduit between their congregations and DCWRL, sharing information and needs in both directions. When a crisis situation erupts which calls for help that we can provide, the congregation knows that the CC has a direct pipline to our resources. Conversely, when DCWRL has important information to share, we funnel that information to the Church Contact, who then distributes it among their congregation. A simple idea, but an extremely effective one... if we have such a person in every prolife church in the county... and that's where you come in! Please check to see if you have a Dodge County Right to Life Church Contact in place in your church. If you do not, talk with your pastor about becoming one, then contact us. In a very short time, we'll have you "up and running" as the official prolife contact person for your congregation.
Become a
Community
Outreach Person (COP)
The Community Outreach Person, or COP, is responsible for keeping in contact with all Church Contacts in his or her community. Each COP receives a fax machine so that he or she can receive instant bulletins which are then distributed among the CCs. In addition, the COP works at recruiting new Contacts in the community. This structure assures us that critical information reaches people in the shortest time possible, and allows us to meet needs across the county quickly. These positions call for folks who are organized and committed... if that describes you, c'mon board!
Join Our
Speaker's Bureau
If you enjoy speaking to schools, church groups and civic organizations about prolife issues, why not consider becoming a member of our speakers bureau? Wisconsin Right to Life offers excellent training for speakers, who'se efforts greatly multiply our efforts across the county. Contact us if you are interested in serving the prolife movement in this dynamic way.
