Text and symbols can be cut in .01" increments between the sizes shown. For pricing in-between sizes, use the price for the next larger size. One-piece characters are limited in size to the maximum available height of the material specified. Materials are available in height of 13 1/2" and 17 1/2". Characters larger than the available material can be supplied split into pieces with a 1/8" lap. All vinyl is supplied weeded and masked with application tape unless otherwise specified.

Letter Height:

Our graphic artists use a letter such as an uppercase “A” to determine letter height for each font, measuring from the top of the letter to the baseline of the letter. Letter such as a “Q” hang below the baseline and are actually slightly larger than the size. Lowercase letters are also measured using the same uppercase letter. All letters in the diagram above are the same height.

Vinyl Type:

• 3-5 Year Standard Vinyl:
  A glossy intermediate calendered vinyl designed to give the high performance look at a lower cost. Good for banners, signage, windows and trade shows. Apply to clean smooth surface at a minimum of 50°F. This vinyl has a three to five year exterior durability when properly applied. Available colors
  
  
• 6-8 Year Premium Vinyl:
  A premium quality film. It has a clear pressure sensitive adhesive which allow it to be used to produce attractive two-way markings. These films are intended for use on a wide variety of flat substrates such as glass, metals, acrylics, polycarbonates, fiberglass, painted surfaces and flat/rivited surfaces. This vinyl offers outstanding outdoor durability— up to eight years when properly applied. Available colors
  
  
• Metallic Vinyl:
  Finest quality metal flakes permanently cast into a 2-mil film. Makes for a prefect choice in automotive and architectural signage applications. This vinyl has a five year exterior durability when properly applied. Available colors
  
  
• Holographic Vinyl:
  This premium quality, eye-catching metalized vinyl film is coated with a permanent acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive that provides a permanent bond to a variety of surface. This vinyl has a two year exterior durability when properly applied. Available colors
  
  
• Mirror Finish Vinyl:
  Metalized polyester mirror finished single sided or double-sided gold or silver 1 mil film with brilliance and luster of bright metal finish. Ideal for window graphics with a one year gold and 3 year silver outdoor life expectancy when properly installed. When ordering two-sided mirror vinyl add 35% to the cost indicated in the chart below. Available colors
  
  
• Reflective Engineering Grade:
  Reflective Sheeting are highly durable, flexible, enclosed lens reflective sheeting designed for the production of attractive multicolor markings, displays, signs and truck markings. These markings have the same appearance in daylight and at night even when viewed at wide entrance angles. The sheeting has good flexibility and provides excellent conformance to moderately curved surfaces. This vinyl has a 7-10 year exterior durability when properly applied. Available colors
  
  
• Dusted and Frosted Crystal Vinyl:
  This film is durable, dimensionally stable is designed for window graphics and internally illuminated displays. The films are uniform color in both reflected and transmitted light and have low gloss to eliminate glare. Intended for use on flat clear substrates such as glass, acrylic or polycarbonates. Dusted crystal film gives the uniform appearance of etched glass. Frosted crystal films give the uniform appearance of sandblasted glass. This vinyl has a three year exterior durability when properly applied. Available colors
  
  
• Fluorescent Vinyl:
  Fluorescent films are dimensionally stable, glossy opaque films. These films are intended for use on flat substrates. Fluorescent films are extremely conspicuous under al daylight conditions and provide a high attention value desired under conditions of poor visibility, particularly at dawn or dusk. This vinyl has a 3 to 6 month exterior durability when properly applied. Available colors
  
  
• Translucent Vinyl:
  These durable and dimensionally stable films are designed for use on internally illuminated signs, tradeshow graphics and window graphics applications. They have uniform color in both reflected and transmitted light, and have low gloss to eliminate glare. These films are intended for application to flat acrylic, polycarbonate, fiberglass and glass substrates. They can be applied to either the interior or exterior surface of any of these substrates, but are not intended for use on flexible sign faces, with the exception of Panaflex™ 940 and 945 flexible substrate. Forty of the fifty translucent colors simulate popular PANTONE® Colors. The appropriate PANTONE Color number is listed below the applicable translucent color name. • Marble Vinyl:
  This unique film is great for creating elegant effects. Makes a statement when used as a backround on signs, then adding copy over the top. This vinyl is available in two distinctive colors and has an exterior durability of 1 year when properly applied. Available colors

Orders are shipped utilizing Spee-dee Delivery Service or Priority Mail at a minimum of $7.50 for shipping and handling. A customer service representative can give you approximate shipping cost. Overnight and express service is available.
