Chapter 5 - Telling Time

   The number of units can be determined by reading a measurement tool.  Clocks are a tool used to measure or tell the time.

Objectives:

• Understanding a Clock; to learn about minutes and hours on an analog and digital clock.

• Estimating Minutes and Hours; to estimate time in minutes and hours

• Time to the Minute; to investigate telling time to the minute.

• Time after the Hour; to tell time as minutes after the hour

• Problem Solving Skills; to use 'Act it Out' as a strategy to solve a problem
