Lesson 1.2  The Struggle to Survive

Surviving in the desert,  some animals;

1.              Sleep during the heat of day and hunting for food at night.

2.      Stay underground or in shelter/shade helps keep the dry air from drying out skin.

3.      Specialized body parts like scales, large ears.

4.      Get water from food.

5.     Underground is cooler then above ground in the desert.
