Module E - Chapter 2  Using Sound

Animals and people both make sounds.  Some animals and people use their vocal chords to make sounds.  People and some animals hear sounds with their ears.  Some animals hear sounds a different ways.

How can a balloon make sound?

1. Blow up a balloon

2. Hold the neck of the balloon between fingers

3. Pinch the neck and stretch it slightly

4. Let out some air
