Reading Grid Maps

A grid map can help you to find location on a map
A grid map has a grid or a set of crisscrossing lines to help you locate a place.
One set of lines runs across (horizontal) and the other set runs up and down (vertical).
The index tells you where to find a location.
To find a location on a grid map,
  1. first look in the index for the place you are looking for... letter/number.
  2. point to the grid letter/number on the side and the grid letter/number on the top/bottom and slide your fingers along the lines until they meet.
