1. From the Desktop, right click on Internet Explorer and left click on Properties.
2. In the Address field, delete the current address and type in www.powerweb.net
3. Click on the Connections Tab. Remove all unused dial-up connections from the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network field.
Select the Setup button.
4. Welcome to the New Connection wizard
Click on Next.
5. Network Connection Type
Select Connect to the Internet and click on Next
6. Getting Ready
Select Set up my connection manually then click Next.
7. Internet Connection
Select Connect using a dial-up modem and click on Next.
8. Connection Name
Type in PowerWeb and select Next.
9. Phone Number to Dial
Type in the Local Access Number for your area and click Next.
10. Internet Account Information
Type your username in the Username field, type your password in the Password field and in the Confirm password field, type your password in again. Make sure all three boxes are checked and click Next.
11. Completing the New Connection Wizard
Check the box that says Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop and click Finish.
12. Getting Connected
Double click on the newly created PowerWeb and select Dial.
