Heading towards Tipton Knob. That was the first major obstacle. Very slippery going down the hill. Unfortunately this was the only shot I got. We needed all the hands we could getting down the hill. Andy had to use his winch to pull himself away from the side of the bank as Van winched him down. Things were more tricky getting Van down! Yikes!

These were ice crystals that were growing out of the side of the hill. They had the appearance of onion blossoms but tasted nothing like onions...HA!

This was a nice shot of the articulation Van got climbing this rock. It's hard to see but he had about 18" of air under his right front tire.
Doug got some good flex too.
