The classic insulated car featured Hydroframe-40 type under frames, roller bearings, belt rail load dividers and it carried perishable goods across the country year round, keeping them cool in the summer and from freezing in the winter. This car operated on many railroads from the early 1960’s to the end of the Milwaukee Road in the 1980’s. Our version was developed in association with the Milwaukee Road Historical Association and Milwaukee Railroad Club members and is manufactured by Lionel.

The yellow and black billboard reefer includes authentic Milwaukee Road markings, die-cast sprung trucks, magnetic die cast couplers, and metal brake wheel. It will be a unique addition to your Milwaukee Road Fallen Flags Series.
