This Milwaukee Road explicit design was found in the dungeons of the Milwaukee Road Archives and given to the Milwaukee-Lionel Railroad Club to share with you to run on your layouts of today. In the late 1950's young graphic designers in engineering were ahead of their time with designs for freight cars. An example was this "Big M" logo found to be too modern to run the rails at that time. Management probably said no to it and placed the drawing in the most bottom file, which of course, would be lost forever. But now, after 50 plus years, volunteers found the original drawing of this unique design which we are offering to you on a 0-27 traditional double door boxcar.
This classic boxcar was developed in association with the Milwaukee Road Archives, Milwaukee Lionel Railroad Club, Inc. members and will be manufactured by Lionel LLC. Included will be die-cast sprung trucks, magnetic operating couplers, metal base, door guides, and brake wheel. Car length 10 1/4”
